It doesn’t seem so to me. Delta and united COMPLETELY cut ties with the NRA. And I wouldn’t call that virtue signaling as much as I would call it discriminating against a certain civil right.

Did they actually discriminate against someone's civil rights? Seems to me that all they did was quit giving NRA members discounted fares that the average Joe couldn't get anyway. Hardly a civil rights violation IMHO.

Well stated, Shack!!!

If no longer giving a discount to a certain group is discriminating against someone's civil rights....I don't know what to say. They'd better keep giving me those AAA discounts at hotels, or I'm suing!

Delta had every right to stop partnering with the NRA. I have every right to not give Delta my business. And the Georgia Legislature has every right to kill a sales tax to punish them for it.

Fine. But none of this has anything to do with civil rights.

I guess free speech, free association, and voting aren’t civil rights either. I’ll let the Supreme Court know. The Constitution will be a whole lot easier to read without those pesky amendments.

Umm....okay, you win. Getting a special affiliation discount must be a civil right. The Constitution! Supreme Court! Voting rights! It's all the same. I would think it was apparent I was talking about losing a discount.

Seriously, I don't even know why you're arguing this point. What next, time to bring up Hitler?

Please go back and reread what I wrote. I didn’t say it was a civil rights violation.

Did they also do the same for members of the ACLU, ACLJ or any other civil rights organization? Seems like clear discrimination to me. Like someone else mentioned, private companies are free to discriminate (unless you are a baker). I was just pointing out the discrimination.

Can someone point me in the direction of a progressive baker in Memphis? I am bored and have some more R-days to kill... gonna take that idea and run with it.
