I'd give this link a try:

Why use a "professional" when there seems to be a lot of guys who know a whole lot about retirement planning right there?

Legacy Wealth Management is having a "Lunch and Learn" for pilots and their spouse on Friday April 20th and Wednesday April 25th in Memphis at Napa Cafe. 11:00 am -1:00 pm. Call 901-758-9006 to reserve a spot. They will not contact you after the event. You must contact them first.

I've been with them 10 years. I'm very pleased with their services. Any question I asked via email was always answered in 24 hours or less. Most of the time if during normal business hours just a few hours.
Yep you pay for their services, I figure I'm pretty good at flying airplanes and ill let someone who is good at money managers. Do some research they are top rated nation wide and they aren't Airline pilots only, I believe most of their clients are above us in the food chain.
They have several folks who specialize in our contract and retirement so they understand the contract better than I do. Try doing that with a CFP that hasn't got a clue about our retirement. I don't feel like paying him to learn our system and suffer through his mistakes.

Is Legacy affiliated/sponsored with ALPA/FPA or why do they have people who know our contract? Just because a number of pilots use them?

Anyone from out of town use them? Been thinking about looking for a financial advisor.

They know our contract because we (their clients) keep them up to date on it. You can't call them with a question about say, substitution, but they can answer any question you may have about our retirement or other benefits.
