And 3.5-4 years is a long time to have to fly an atr when someone can be a regional jet captain in 18 months these days. Who's to say this program will even be around then? I'm sure retirements will continue to grow but thats all the more reason that they'll take people off the street for "mainline" Fedex. Empire and MAC arent big airlines and probably wont dominate new hire classes regardless of having the program.
