VTO Commuter line expectations
If you request a COMMUTER line on your VTO and as the top priority, wouldn’t you think it would mostly be a a few continuous blocks of flying avoiding idle days in MEM?
Apparently, from feedback I received from the company, it is this:
“A commuter line consist of Avoid work periods.
A work period is a series of trips (one or more) scheduled back to back.
A calendar day off at home base breaks the sequence and ends a work period.
Try "avoid home base turns greater than 4 hours. This may eliminate the turns of 12 or more hours”
Anyone else confused?
And with those turns of 12 or more hours, it is apparent to me that there were trips that went to junior VTO lines, that were legal for my line, and would eliminate most of the extended MEM turns I received.

So basically the exact opposite of what it’s always been?
