Email migration issues
Is anybody able to log in? The Update on PFC says all users should be able to log in, but I still can't as of 1500 MEM time.
|
Update: I just spoke with the Fedex Tech, and he said the message posted on PFC was pre-mature and the email migration issues have not been fixed. He seemed frustrated that there was a message posted saying "All is well" when it is not.
|
After 6 log-in attempts, I got a “your mobile device is quarantined, contact your administrator”.
|
What a disaster... i can get there if i login in seperatly to outlook from another device but can’t get to my email through PFC....
|
Good thing we are not an IT based Company🤭
|
Insite report
Submitted. Everyone who has an issue should send one in. Let them know it’s really not working
|
I'm flabbergasted that something our IT department has rolled out is having problems. Has Fedex IT EVER, EVER made an upgrade that went smoothly?? The question now is, how long and what adjustments do the users have to make to accommodate this improvement?? My guess this "improvement" has meant a cheaper way to to deal with internal mail. Someone with get a productivity bonus and we will get to deal with the mess.
|
you guys are missing the bigger picture here......let me give you an example. I call in SCK for a trip. Management wants a letter from my doctor, and they request it via email. I can't access my email, so therefore, I can't provide the note from my doctor. I'm sure they would try to call me, but I have every number from MEM permanently blocked on my phone. I'm happy the email sucks. I hope they never fix it.
|
....oh, and I forgot......this is probably all the pilots fault because we're not saving enough gas, and therefore the company couldn't get a better email service
|
Got the webinar invite, hey, why not?
30 minutes, lost track of the "Um"s after about 3 minutes. Really, this is global, umm, communication? Cringed at "Axe (ask) the community" at least a half dozen times. Only time for 2 questions, first was "Can I still access from pfc.com?". (OK, who was the other pilot on the line? :) ). Answer:"Umm, I don't know what pfc.com is." Glorious. . |
I don't understand. Who could have ever seen this coming!?
|
Still, no joy
Still cannot get in via the PFC website as of 1215 east coast local 6 June. Any updates?
|
Belay my last...
Just got in on my fourth try. Yay me.:D
|
Copy the belay.
What is giving me trouble is doing it via the iPad (sort of). Has anyone been able to login and retrieve their email without having to do a full up login with token? That browser app sucks, but it was nice to not have to use the token for login just to check email or do something quick on PFC. So far, I'd say this new system isn't much of an improvement. Sure, two full logins to do what used to require one via PFC is a minor inconvenience, but what's really being claimed as a benefit to us? |

My email using the standard iPad email app works. I can not get email through PFC. Good enough for me.

So you can get company email on the iPad using the mail app without doing a full login? And you're able to do that now after this migration thing?
Edit, BTW my mailbox in the iPad app auto changed name to “Exchange ActiveSync O365”. I did have to do the full sign in once, including token. |
Ok. I never used it before so it's not set-up. I just always went through PFC.
I'm using Insite to get some idiot proof instructions on how to do it. |
I still can’t get in either
iPad mail button says invalid password. Trying thru a browser says “requested link not availble”. I think it’s funny they tell me to file an insite report since I won’t be able to read any email responses to one anyway. |

I think it’s funny they tell me to file an insite report since I won’t be able to read any email responses to one anyway. Try the steps below. This may activate your new Exchange ActiveSync O365 email account (which is replacing Outlook email) on your iPad. Double-tap the Home button. All open apps will display as thumbnails. Close all open apps by swiping up on each thumbnail with your finger. Tap the Agent icon (blue shield) on the iPad Home screen. After Agent opens, tap on the iPad image. Tap Sync Device located near the top middle of the screen. This should complete the email migration. Go to the iPad Home screen and tap the Settings icon. Scroll down on the left and tap Accounts and Passwords. Tap Accounts (right screen frame). Tap Exchange ActiveSync O365 mail account. Tap on your Company email address in the Account field. Tap the Password field and re-enter your Company LDAP password. Tap Done. Open the Mail app. |

Knight flyer, you are my hero. Worked like a charm. Funny part is that once I got on the only response I got from Insight was crickets and then a ticket closed email. Seems like they did not want to help.
Now, can you help me with my AT&T UVerse issues :D hahaha. I'm an Xfinity man but willing to try!:) |
Knightflyer - grassy a$$! Worked like a charm. A shame company did put that out in front of this debacle. Can you also help me get some of those sweet “Wolfpack” charters?
|
Thanks Knight!
I had all my inbox but all the subfolders failed to sync. Also set the sync timeframe to unlimited. Your fix worked like a champ!:D |
