Offline j/s (myidtravel)
From what I can find, we are to list with United and Southwest, but I’m not sure how to go about any other offline j/s?
I keep getting the “additional information” line if I select a given flight’s details as: “Minimum days of employment not obtained” or “at least one of the selected passengers is not eligible...” (including United, which doesn’t have a radio button available to select for any flights.)
No issues with American or SWA, I can select a radio button and all is well through the confirmation page.
What am I missing? I went step by step through the ALPA guide, nothing is addressed in the case of no radio buttons available.

I list at the gate for United. They ask, did you list ahead of time. Just tell them no, and they do can do it on the spot. I haven't heard about listing through myidtravel. I just checked using the FX log-in, and I also do not see radio buttons next to United flights. This makes me think we don't have the ability to do so yet, but we can see the smiley faces to get an idea of loads.

Makes total sense - thanks.
I guess the next step is, if it’s an airline you don’t list, how do you get through security to the gate without a boarding pass?
I know these are probably elementary questions.

Don’t need a boarding pass if it’s an airport with Known Crewmember. If it isn’t, just show your ID to the TSA person checking boarding passes and say you’re jumpseating or standing by. That should work 99% of the time. If it doesn’t, go to the ticket counter, show your badge and they can give you a gate pass to get through security.

Go back to the ALPA guide for booking JUMPSEATS through myid Travel. The links look similar so make sure you type it in exactly as shown to include the http:// and all. Once you are in the correct spot, you use the FX.... and password 0xx as listed. Select pilot commuting listing. You can use this to list Jumpseats from day 1. You use this for SWA, AA, and JetBlue. You book at the gate with United and Delta. United gate agents understand it as OMC Travel or jumpseating, and delta understands it as requesting a Jumpseat. If they ask for your airline code for CASS, it’s FX. Even with listing for AA, SWA, and JetBlue, you still need to see the gate agent to activate your listing.
With all the airlines, the ticket counter or special services desks within some terminals can also help you list.

Very good, thanks for the info - The ALPA guide seems to clutter up some pretty straight forward info.
To be fair, it could also be the reader.
Edit: I didn’t refresh all responses. That was to nightman.

Many thanks for the fill ins. Most of that makes sense, and I thought the same thing. So I cleared history and cache and went step by step via the ALPA guide using the appropriate credentials for the FX login, I was assuming I got the messages due to my input of employee number in the appropriate field.
It’s funny that the messages don’t appear for AA or Southwest, as they have radio buttons to prelist. For the record, Allegiant is the only one I’ve tested so far that spit out the “not employed long enough” which made me think non-rev.
I don’t *have* to use this yet, but being next door to an airport without a FedEx ramp, it would be nice to have a backup to travel to or from MEM. Just wondering what I’m screwing up.

http://myidtravel.com/myidlisting (for jumpseat listings, enter exactly and don’t use any auto fill info while typing it in your browser address bar)
The log in info is found in the ALPA Jumpseat guide. The username will start with FX and the password with 0. (I don’t want to post on public forum). You should not be using your employee number to log in. If you are, you are at the non rev Travel link. You will have to list your employee number once logged into the Jumpseat link, but it’s not part of the log in.

My apologies: that is the site I’ve been logging into, with the company login and numerical password.
I’ve only put my employee number in the required field when searching for a flight (last name, first name, date of hire, employee number, airline searching, etc. Sorry for the confusion fusion - poorly worded.)
