Trade war
Is anyone on here concerned about the escalation of the Chinese/world trade war? With a massive Asian operation and large Chinese hub, I was wondering how this could effect us. Is Fred well enough connected to weather this potential storm?

You can’t really do much about it in my opinion.
Frankly, in general, the airline industry has been and will always be tied to economic/world events. The industry is an interesting industry whether you are flying pax or cargo. You have to have a strong stomach but try not to over think it. Pay attention, educate yourself, but don’t overthink it.
Whatever is going to happen is going to happen and not a lot we can do about it. Save some money, enjoy your time off, and have fun flying your trips.
Just remember, times are good, but the music will stop eventually. It always does. Make sure you are in a Fleet/Seat that you can tolerate when the music stops.

My bigger concern is a bad week in the South China Sea, a jumpy skipper, and a cruise missile gets launched. I don't think anyone wants a fight down there, but if it does life in the Fragrant Harbour may get more complicated. If someone's carrier gets popped or if a destroyer or two go down it could get a bit nasty. If it gets testy down there I plan to have the fam watch it on the news from the Rockies. Problem is we might not get much warning....
Trade Wars? Nah. This is just classic "Art of the Deal". Too much money for players on all sides to forfeit to not find some compromises.
