Maybe they should just leave a giant blank spot at the bottom for everyone to just spill their guts. Make sure they don't leave anything out that can come back to bite them later. "Is there anything else you would like us to know....... anything at all?"

I mentioned it, because while we don’t they have stepped up and helped guys in his situation. Whether they were required to or not. I’d still ask for their assistance, because they have done it in the past. And I know this for a fact.

This happens at every airline. I have seen it at other majors also. You definitly know if you had two letters in your file period.... He lied and got caught! This is an integrity issue and im sure all those who told the truth on their resume waiting in line to get on at purple are glad this happend. Their is more to this story FYI.

I’m assuming then that background check wasn’t completed before class? I know seniority is everything but I always feel like that should be done before you leave your job, not because you’re lying but because there might be something you’re not aware of.

So here is a question regarding this topic.. I received a written warning letter from a former 135 operator for not being available for a no notice charter trip. I told them that they must put me in crew rest and that I was legally not allowed to take the trip without the proper ten hour notification. They expected us to be crew rested and ready to fly 24/7 but they wouldn’t pay us for this expectation and availability. There was no ready reserve or standby program. I cited their blatant violation of FAR 135.267 in my response. I don’t know what ever happened to their BS warning letter and I haven’t mentioned it to any of my other employers and it hasn’t come up since. As far as I’m concerned I didn’t do anything wrong. Thoughts about reporting this issue on my FedEx or any other mainline Application?
