Yes. Too bad that decision must be made when you start training, not finish it.

That decision can be changed all the way up until you board the plane for HKG. Deltas hiring.

8 weeks later, aged milk.

And history is repeating itself again. This is why I left a “major”. How many times does it need to be said till people realize the passenger world is a boom or bust proposition and to be furlough proof in that industry it takes 20 years of service and maybe a furlough under your belt.

Dude no company is immune to the effects of these sort of things. Not acting like FedEX is untouchable, nobody knows what the future holds. If this crap continues, eventually we all will feel the trickle down effect. I’m sick and tired of hearing guys making similar statements. Just give thanks for your blessings.

I definitely do give thanks and I made my decision in my career based on the reasons I stated above. FedEx is not immune but historically they do not have the big “crash” every 10-15 years like the passenger airlines. These are just facts like it or not. Honest question do you even work at FedEx?

We all know the facts and history of the airline industry. I’m just saying be humble as things changes overnight. As for working here, yes I do.

Is that date a typing error or do you really mean March 2017? If so why do you guys have training schedule 2 yrs away? Is that normal?

Since FedEx own all of its feeder aircraft, do they hire pilots from their feeder or give them preferencial interview ect. Just wondering if going to a feeder would be an easier route to the BIG purple

I'm very comfortable with my job now. Like every other company it has it plus and minus. It just seems like the best thing that can happen to you guys with all the changes. Your senior guys are being selfish if they won't agree to it. And yes I have considered FedEx and now the Legacy carriers

Really? The posts from you above say otherwise. These are posts from 2014 and 2015. You just recently posted the quote above stating that you were here "years prior to 2015." So you obviously have a credibility problem. You either weren't here years prior to 2015, you were lying in 2014 and 2015, or are lying now.

Get over it, I’m been here before 2015. I don’t have to prove it to you or anybody else. I got hire on the on the 727 but believe what you want.
