Let me guess, you’re a millennial and think offers like this happen everyday? Yup, call them back and ask since Christmas is right around the corner, why not punt this opportunity further, I mean the holidays are coming....ask do y’all have any dates after we take the tree down?

Assuming there are enough training slots on your assigned airplane in your BI class, you can try swap training dates with another classmate.

You push the wedding. You don't delay a class date at FedEx. Your multi million dollar career will more than make up for any delay to your bride.

I had this exact situation when I was offered interview dates. Bachelder party, wedding, honeymoon conflicted with every single interview date offered. I sent an email to KD and we moved my interview back 2 months. She was very accommodating and it wasn’t a problem at all. Happy wife, happy life. Good luck and welcome aboard!

I’ll throw in my .02… you can probably work training around the actual wedding date, but be willing to postpone. Trade the bachelor party and have a guys trip around the time your first kid is four months old, you’ll enjoy the break. Make the honeymoon your first FedEx vacation. But don’t put off a class date a couple months. It’s different than the interview the other guy had.

Skipping a class date would seem unwise based on the sentiments they gave to our class. Food for thought.
Have they mentioned how more new hires they plan to hire?
