Tour of the AOC

Tour of the AOC
So, mr. vagabond and I are getting ready for our road trip. We know for sure that we will spend Thanksgiving with my sister in SAT. Her son, who won State (men's single tennis) a few months ago, and who is now at a D1 school in Ohio on an athletic and academic scholarship, will be going home for Thanksgiving and it'll be great to see him again.
Sometime back in 2008, someone on APC said that if we ever visited Memphis, he would give us a tour of the AOC and possibly even sit inside an MD11. This person has since died. Wondering if anybody else able, available and actively seeking to take up that mantle. Otherwise, on the bucket list is the ever-popular Graceland.

So we got back from our road trip a few days ago. It's great to sleep in my own bed, do laundry, and what not. I don't know how y'all sleep in hotel rooms year in and year out. Anyway, we did not make it to Memphis this time. The side trip to Kansas and the need to get down to Brownsville (with 35 boxes and bags of donations) before Thanksgiving instead of after Thanksgiving meant that we had to put off Graceland and the AOC for another time. We did lose 2 hours of our life sitting in that horrendous traffic in Dallas. Now to get back to quilting, knitting, reading, cooking, etc etc.
Maybe next Spring.
