Just curious, what did you get for it?

I donated a car to Make a Wish from the Democrat lot several years back. I got a letter from them saying they sold it for $750. In order to get the tax forms I had to either

A: leave my SSN on a "secure" voicemail or
B: send my SSN via fax.

I declined and decided to take just the $500 deduction that didn't need the additional tax form.

I sold my last two cars on Craigslist (a Mustang and a Convertible Mercedes). You can post pictures if it looks good. It has a map tp show approximately where you live.

My only issue ... is how many people make an appointment to see it and then never show up (at the time THEY REQUESTED)?

I'm all for giving a car to a newhire, but I'm pretty sure you can't actually take a tax writeiff for passing a car on to one of your buds.
