I appreciate anyone (including Tony) who is not afraid to ruffle feathers when he sees something that isn’t right. Some may feel this is politically incorrect, but I’ll take that any day over what’s been happening. He calls it like it is, and isn’t afraid to ask the tough questions - what on earth is wrong with that?

I’d be hesitant to vote for a candidate who leaves you guessing what their position is on a subject as important as our retirement.

Disclaimer - I’m not in the block Tony is running for and have no vote to cast, but wouldn’t hesitate to vote for him if I could.
You missed my point.....I don’t mind the ruffling of feathers, but if he’s going to be MY block rep, the grade school name calling and other nonsense is purely NOT what I would want in an elected representative.......maintain the higher ground and be professional.

Can't say I'd vote for someone who lowers themself just to prove he's right. I'd rather watch two kindergartners fight over a ham sandwich.

Whining, sniping, grade school name calling?? Who/what are you talking about?

Just a few I've found.....not going to look over the past thousands of posts, though:

this APC clown seems driven

Thanks for your sage advice
You are dismissed.

Now, again, machina of trolling, you are dismissed

…and in other forums:

They were so sure the President should be a Delta pilot, that 2 Delta guys ran against each other, ballot after ballot after unsuccessful ballot. Oh, well, some folks aren't very good with math

Good luck. Oh, and if you need help with the math, ... oh, never mind.

My local rep job happens to be open right now. Can I get rich?

Do you have anything resembling facts to support that accusation, or do we file this away with, "Your mama wears army boots"

My point being, I understand passion for a point or a position but when you lower yourself to name calling and snide comments, you just open yourself up for further lowering of the bar. Professionalism is paramount, even when dealing with others that may not have a rational opinion or idea.

Ohhhhh! I can see why you'd say that now. I think you may have missed some context. Notice all those are directed at one person, and he's not a FedEx guy. I thought you were talking about conversations with FedEx guys about the Block Rep job.

The guy in question is one of several Delta guys who thought it a good idea to stir up trouble about the newly elected ALPA President, who happens to be a FedEx pilot. They started threads in our forum, in JetBlue's forum, in United's forum, and then finally in Delta's forum to complain that he retired as a FedEx pilot. All of these threads were eventually moved to the Union forum, but this guy decided to hang around the FedEx forum and keep trolling. If you take a look at his posting history, you can quickly see that's about all he's done for the 6 months since he joined APC. He's nothing more than a common troll.

So, yeah, I've been pretty loud in calling him out and telling him to go away. All the other Delta guys trolling for trouble got the message; this guy is a little slow to get it.

To be clear, there are plenty of FedEx guys here with whom I am not in 100% agreement with, but I would never talk to them like I've talked to deus de machina.

I'm sorry if I caused any misunderstanding.

Fraternally,

Flex. I went through your old posts. On numerous occasions it seems that you have failed to maintain the moral high ground. Failed. Miserably. So maybe you don’t like Tony for other reasons, or maybe you’re a hypocrite, or maybe senile, or maybe you’re just busting balls.

As for me, I don’t even know which block I’m in, and whether or not I can vote for Tony. That’s how much I suck, and maybe I suck because our union sucks, and maybe if I voted for guys like Tony our union would suck less and me too.

Maybe not. Douche Machine got it right when he said we don’t know what we’re doing. We really don’t. And if Tony gets elected he’s gonna swim upstream. god bless the effort.

Not senile.....FAA doc says so. Not a hypocrite....I say whats on my mind and expect others to do so as well......busting balls.....merely a pastime and not a full time obsession.

Don’t need to maintain the moral high ground....I’m not running for office. But, as all members should want our elected leaders, or candidates, to be truthful, tactful, professional, and above all, have a servant mentality.
