COVID test DXB to USA
Lot of rumor re: COVID test to DH home from DXB. My experience. 11May, DXB-JFK Emirates, check in business class lounge near terminal hotel. After discussion with staff, for JFK (maybe all US, not sure), required a rapid test which is done near gate B 5 in the same terminal that we stay. A bit bureaucratic, several stops, need passport, payment, and details of trip but you won't have a boarding pass until you get the results. Pay the man (150 AED), another guy does the nose swab thing, about 15 mins wait and you get a legal size document with the negative result. Take back to business class lounge and I got my boarding pass (I was about 9 hours early for departure). You will need that test result again at the gate before boarding.
INS at JFK didn't ask to see it when going through the crew line and showing ID. Happy landings.

COVID test DXB to USA
I had the same experience back in February. DXB-ORD. The only difference is after checking with three different people and being told I was good to go at 30 minutes before pushback they told me I needed the rapid test! I was lucky they actually held the flight for me. My first class ticket probably helped in that regard.

DXB to USA
Flying from DXB to SEA today, and yes, a test is required to get a boarding pass even though we are supposed to be exempt. Did the rapid test as well. Got results in 15 and was provided a letter with the results
