Minimum Requirements, Degree and bases.
 

Hello there.

Im new in the forum and after some reading just wanted to ask couple things to see if somebody could help me here.

As i can read in their requirements, they want a Bachelors degree... do you guys know if that can be waved with experience? i don't have this degree. Like many of you, i was flying since very young and didn't go to college to fly.

Till today i have about 7000hrs TT, where 3000hrs are PIC on A320.

Other thing. Do you guys know if Fedex has based pilots in CGN or CDG? (where you start and finish from), and if they give you the option (in case you get hired) to permanently go there?

Need a degree. CGN max 4 years. Then you have to leave and can bid back.

Seems like UPS is dropping that mandatory requirement for a preferred one.

Slight correction : CGN is max 4 yrs and 11 months.

UPS hiring department markedly different compared to ours though. Even with a pilot shortage I can’t see FDX changing the degree requirement any time this century.
