I was told by someone very high up in the hiring food chain to expect an FCIF after the new year regarding hiring. RUMOR from other folks have new classes starting back JAN/FEB time frame. I believe we have close to 200 folks in the pool waiting on an indoc class. I would actually believe Santa is real before I believed in any more interviewing happening this CY.

Before peak, they were talking 30/40 per class, twice a month. This is all predicated on training capacity since that's where the bottle neck really is.

Go back and look at class drops. They were pretty consistent every other Monday (Sunday for MD) and roughly 20 per class. Fedex has been hiring roughly 500 per year for the last couple of years. I would say roughly 10 classes to clear the existing pool.

I could and may be wrong, but you will likely not see a Fedex class until mid 2020 at the earliest. If I were a Fedex hopeful, I would be hedging my options. Not saying the Fedex dream job is gone, but it most likely is in the short term.

Isnt DAL hiring 1500 pilots this year. With these earnings reports missing and the coming challenges with Amazon not sure why ppl want to come here so quickly. Go to DAL and come here when things settle down.
