They actually tell you what to study right on the website, however I personally used RST. RST will help you through the other parts of the technical part as well as methodically help you focus on areas that you are weak on.

If you want to start glancing over material though, Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators and the Pilots Handbook Of Aviation Knowledge will get you started.

Happy studying!!

Hours at hire were TT: >4200 with 2800 PIC.

RST (Tito) is by far the best money ever spent. Their prep system is unmatched. Now, the other prep companies, the HR side, not so much. Emerald Coast was useful, but not $399 useful. What people post on this board is more than enough for HR. But for the technical part, RST prep is invaluable. Yes, Fedex gives you the outline, but RST gives you all the material to study. No fumbling around where to go for material.

Thank you Tito!!

Absolutely...I reread my post...I realized I did not say that too clearly. I would not change a thing and would recommend RST to everyone.

As for HR, I used ECIC and I also thought that was money well spent. They helped me organize my thoughts appropriately for an interview. They by no means give you the answer...they just help you get thoughts out of your nugget, put them into a complete, cohesive thought and express that thought in a professional manner.

I have also heard good things about Cage Marshall and a couple others but I can’t validate their product as I did not use it.

RST for the technical/aptitude and EC for the SBI is a MUST...

A good buddy of mine is in the process and got this message from pilot hiring recently:

“We are writing to inform you that FedEx will not conduct any more Crewmember interviews this calendar year. After we get through our ‘Peak’ season, we will be in a better position to determine an interview schedule for calendar year 2020.”

I’d say your chances are more like 1 in a million of interviewing this year

I was told by someone very high up in the hiring food chain to expect an FCIF after the new year regarding hiring. RUMOR from other folks have new classes starting back JAN/FEB time frame. I believe we have close to 200 folks in the pool waiting on an indoc class. I would actually believe Santa is real before I believed in any more interviewing happening this CY.

I really hope that is true about Jan/Feb classes. There are 178 people in the pool from what I was told, but “approximately 200” is what came out in an email to all the poolies mid-Nov.
