Tax Statement

Maybe I’m not looking in the right place. Does anybody know when ALPA is putting out the dues statement for tax purposes? Thanks.

Hi Blob, for the past two years union dues are no longer deductible.

They are on my state returns. All of the business expenses that got cut as deductions on federal returns MAY be deductible if your state has income taxes. If you’re lucky enough to not have state income tax then you have an easier job with your tax returns. I still have to fight to keep my money from being wasted by my state’s growing bureaucracy.

I just put in the total withheld in my 12/31 stub as a business expense. In 15 years with multiple ALPA carriers I’ve never received any type of statement.
