“Spilled goo”?!? What are you guys doing in cruise?

Default Every plane.

Every plane should be sterilized after every flight. I have flown some disgusting airplanes this week. There should be documentation left after cleaning. We have at least two weeks before we have so many pilots out on sick that we can’t operate. Just my opinion

So the Union put out a message of a second confirmed case, however they state they will not communicate any new cases except under special circumstances. I wonder why they decided to do that.

Everybody needs to send pics of the airplane’s flight decks to every management pilot possible. If you got a relationship with these guys from past job etc. email em! These things are gross and need daily cleaning during this event. It should not be up for debate. It has to be cheaper than slowly losing crews over the next 6-8 weeks.

Jet was late out of MEM to arrive at YYZ a couple days ago. We encountered a guy that thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the flight deck. I was impressed. He even asked if there were any other areas we wanted cleaned. He indicated this is done between all flights.

On our ICN MEM flight, the flight deck was clean and there was a note hanging on the throttles, "The Aircraft has been disinfected."
We also had plenty of hand sanitizer, a baggie full or disinfecting wipes, rubber gloves, and masks.

On our other flights, we had the PPE but no signage. The aircraft seemed cleaned.

Every airplane I’ve been on so far was clean, and if it’s not, I still use my Lysol spray even in the bunks. I’m more concerned about some of our crew members nonchalant attitude about this virus. They still want to be out and about in place where they can, not practicing enough social distancing and still believe the virus is being blown out of proportion. They’re more concerned about the effect of this thing on their investments and how money they’ve lost due to people over reacting than the safety and lives of those being directly affected.
