I put 15-18 days in my comment. One is equal in pay and 18 days is top end and out earns a NB reserve Jr Capt. I understand you have a bone to pick because I called out your beloved HKG base on the attitude many show from that domicile. You and me know its the truth. I was just talking with a bud yesterday from HKG and he even stated that the unwritten rule of HKG is to 1.) not tell anyone how good it is. 2.) scream and yell constantly to get more and more. This is preached to the new hires day 1 when they show up in HKG. Im heading to the lake so enjoy the holiday. You back in the states yet?
Scream and yell constantly to get more and more? Are you implying that we should keep quiet and not push for improvements?

You need a break from the internet. What are you talking about? Not true.

A reduced line guarantee isn't even unique to FedEx anymore with many of the majors/LCC's voluntarily doing it. Numerous airlines with pilots taking lower line credits and early retirements with lower line credits till they hit 65. This is what our 4.A.2.c is. It has a bunch of gates that have to be met and then they have to offer early retirement packages/LOA's and then they can lower the monthly guarantee with a lot of strings attached. As someone else said work less not for less and make sure other provisions are offered by the company prior to reduced line guarantees such as our CBA has.

True or not, going to be interesting regardless of what you have or don’t have as the Chinese Noodle Hammer rains more swings on the pop-up HKG nails. Keep at it HKGers, give them havoc and so much easier with masks...

Tell the whole story. Wasn't bragging about my pay. On that thread two individuals were degrading cargo flying and throwing shad on the cargo industry. All this while many of his fellow pilots have apps on file at Purple and Brown. I pointed out to him that my schedule doesn't look anything like what he describes as a job he we never go back to under any circumstance. Keep in mind UA is currently doing cargo only flying. The guy who posted it is a bomb thrower and I told him “I couldn't afford the pay cut” to go back to a legacy.” Thats hardly a bomb or bragging its just the truth. I found it reprehensible that he and another were doging a whole pilot sector which will most likely bail some of his coworkers out with a job over the next 2 years. I stand by my entire post!!!

I was a guy who would have been furloughed by the numbers the company put out during the recession. I appreciate the sacrifice that everyone took to keep guys like me around and I make it a point to ‘say thanks’ to those when the discussion arises.
While I totally agree 4a2b was greatly exploited by the company, I’m glad we’ve made the improvements to the section.
Should the situation arise again, hopefully it never does, I would gladly make the same sacrifice to keep guys around.
