A more detailed explanation from SIG Notes...
Disputed Pairing Process
Last month we disputed several pairings for violating the Domestic Solve Parameter 5. The parameter restricts and blends duty times further from the blended duty requirements found in CBA 12.C.4.d.
This month there was a single Airbus pairing that exceeded the soft parameter. The Company notified the Union that they were exercising their override of that parameter as explained in CBA Section 25 Appendix A. They will also override Domestic Solve parameter 11. Expect a future scheduling communication on this subject.
Disputed pairings. Airbus #46 operating on 06FEB21,13FEB21,20FEB21 and 27FEB21.
Trip 46 (MEM-GTF-BIL) is a critical launch in which the critical duty is a slope violation of soft parameter 5.c within our Domestic Solve agreement (see above under “Disputed Pairing Process”).
The dispute process is outlined in CBA 25.BB.E. We have not had many traditional disputes recently, so please refer to our previous communications Update on Disputed Pairings and The PSIT from our archives to explain the process.
As always, if you file a fatigue or Insite report with the Company, please send us a copy of your report via the DART system so that we can try to address any pairing issues

Can you refresh us all on the way it use to be, and applied....when it changed...and why it changed.
I think many new pilots need to understand how & why scheduling limitations like that change over time.
Thanks,
