Yelling at coworkers is not acceptable. I would have reported him. But that’s just me. I don’t tolerate ANYONE yelling at me unless I’m about to endanger you (hasn’t happen yet).

What a disappointment...when I saw the title Crew Bus Driver I was expecting a brand new rumor.

I've dealt with people like this my entire life. He probably heard stories about how much you guys are making and it starts to get to his head. With the masks being required, he finally gets his chance to "one up" the pilots. It makes him feel powerful and respected. He hopes you get angry and confront him so he can either tell you off more or report you to management. Best to just ignore him.

Exactly. And what happened to empathy? Maybe this guys wife of 35 years contracted covid and died alone in the hospital on a vent? You never know. From what it sounds like, you weren't wearing your mask. Not trying to stir the pot, but for what your W2 says, is this really worth your time? Shake your head, laugh and move on. This guy is probably just a power hungry tool, BUT you truly never know what someone is going through. There's no need to flex on him and call up management.

There are bad apples on both sides of the coin. Are there bus drivers that make you hold on for dear life? Yes. Are there pilots that maliciously comply with the mask rule? Definitely. I just flew with a guy that would walk around holding his mask and if someone questioned him he would hold it up to his face. Either way, for the 99-percent of the workforce that doesn’t actively make problems for each other, like another poster above said, just laugh about it later while you make draft money after a freezing rain thunderstorm pounds Memphis during a launch.

My mask was off for about 2 seconds to unlock my phone. I had already replaced it by the time he finished yelling to the back of the bus. I can assure you that I wasn’t offended enough to waste my own time running this up the flag pole. I simply said, “thanks for the ride, have a nice morning” and then I got off the bus and went about my day, I’m in complete agreement with you. He was yelling, “mask on. Get your mask on” in a very authoritative tone. It wasn’t even necessarily personal in any way. I would caution him that at 4am someone is going to be tired and irate and maybe less patient and based on his tone and body language I could see it taking an unwanted turn. Just my $.02 |

You guys must not realize the danger you are putting others in when you don't have your mask on properly. Cases are surging all over the world, people are testing positive everywhere and turning into zombies from this horrible bubonic type plague virus.

I wear my mask when out in public. But your statement that cases are surging all over the world does not agree with the facts, the number of positive cases in the US and most other countries has sharply declined. Please share factual information, not false opinions.
