Fedex was hiring 500+/year before they shut down in 2019, 879 in 24 months is right in line or below with hiring prior to the shutdown.

Boy I hope someone is watching over you to prevent you from hurting yourself. Are you this miserable in life to think so negatively about everything. I think its safe to say this is good news and should continue for the near future. If you want to be a downer thats up to you and your mental health.

Are you not at UPS? Jealous? You mad UPS is not expanding after the recent sweat the assets thing? It appears you may have left FDX for UPS and you now regret it?

FedEx didn’t “shut down” in 2019 they just stopped hiring for part of the year. They still had 70 billion plus in revenue. I think they will be fine. I hope you get help soon. Move on troll

As expected, personal attacks, not surprised, guess you don’t like facts, ‘cause that is all I stated, maybe you live in an alternate reality world. Did Fedex hire any pilots for a period of roughly 12 months from August 2019 to August/Sep 2020? The need to pull irrelevant opinions into a facts driven post clearly shows your intellectual capacity. No worries. Just stating facts.

As stated many times in several threads, just ignore that guy, your experience here will be better for it. There's an ignore function so he is hidden. Several guys here have pointed out that his post history contradicts his claim to work at fedex, and he/she generally acts like a troll.

Unfortunately when you quote him it defeats the ignore function.

No personal attacks at all. I just read your previous posts and asked some follow on questions about your intent. Now you play "victim". Standard of our culture today after an underhanded comment. I answered your question. Yes FedEx stopped hiring for a big portion of 2019. Oh my they didn't hire 500 for 10 years straight the sky is falling!!!!!! You made a post with a negative connotation to throw shad, an APC favorite of yours based on previous posts. Answer the questions I asked you so we can all add relevance to why you posted what you did. I will be waiting......

This is great news for those on the outside trying to get on and those looking for progression already on property at FedEx. Its sad that it took only 1 comment from a shad thrower to derail it. Standard APC.

See? Not so difficult to be civil. My only point was Fedex simply going back to pre August 2019 hiring/training levels, and probably should not of stopped hiring so long and now playing catch up big time. That’s all.

My previous {Quote} you replied to remains. It was clear what you tried to do. You just had to say that as the first reply to the thread. Its also clear from your previous posts. Please answer the questions I asked. You are back peddling now. I fully understood your intentions and called your bluff. Congrats you bombed another thread and derailed it. I'm sure that was the intention.

Now if you would like to apologize and come clean with your intentions we can move on.....

The 879 (850 previously) was announced Fall of last year. Have the new hires since then been accounted for in the hiring plan of 879 or does it start now? We've hired quite a lot since resuming classes Spring of last year.

There was a new hire class in Jan-Sept 2019, and March-December 2020 (with the exception of May). Not even close to a 12 month pause.

17 new hire classes in 2019, and 9 in 2020. With an average of more than 1 class/month through 2019 and 2020, some could say we never stopped hiring...
