Love that picture of the -10-10 with the blockbuster in the background. Anyone know where that is(was)?

SJU. You can also see the Pueblo supermarket.
Fun fact: Pueblo owned the Blockbuster franchise rights in Puerto Rico.

I don’t think that Fred does anything for no remuneration.

SJU RWY 08, to be exact.

The Holiday Inn (old style logo) behind the left main landing gear is now Verdanza Hotel.

Looks like the sushi bar is still there, but "Curves" didn't make it.

Also, we stopped painting "MD-10" on the nose of MD-10s a long time ago.

It's a Getty licensed image -- no date given.

The Verdanza is a dump. Jetblue stayed there for a couple years and during the drought the Verdanza had installed water saving shower heads. It was like a mist shower. They must have saved thousands in their water bill. They didn’t put those savings back into the infrastructure.

In addition changed the font on the “Express”. The new font started on planes painted about 15 years ago I think. Not sure how long it took to update entire fleet.

Ahh yes. We (at JB) affectionally referred to it as the Verdumpster.
