Help with getting an interview

It's definitely a cruel industry for those who weren't in the right place at the right time and have suffered through both 9/11 and Covid.

I was told three years ago that I was within the zone of consideration. However that was before I had a PE and it was just an internal contact. I believe that I am still 'in the zone'...?

If your PE is not currently and actively checking on it and advocating for you I would try to get them to do so. Things have a way of falling through the cracks in this imperfect system and, right now at least, the squeaky wheels are getting grease. That and update often, which you probably already know. Aside from that there is definitely some voodoo mystery to the whole thing.

It almost seems like the PEs have to pester the fleet Capts a little.
I have another friend who just finished Indoc and he’s going to ask some questions when he gets to systems class. He’s a little more out going compared to my PE.
I hope I’m not coming off as complaint. Just making sure I’m doing all that I can in the mean time.

My PE talked to the 75 fleet Capt who said keep building time, which I totally understand. 3 people from my company getting invites with less time than me made me wonder if I’m missing something else.

You definitely are on the right track, and keep pimping your PE for feedback. And know that Fleet Captains are seeing many many highly qualified individuals. So if you aren't "in the zone" now, you will be with more PIC.

Help with getting an interview
Another data point for the conversation:
10,000+ hours
2,000+ hours turbojet PIC
3 type ratings (two of which are Boeing)
Very good GPA in a difficult major
1 personal endorsement
Lots of international experience
Crickets for the last 16 years (from the date at which I met the minimums and first applied)
You're not the only one.

I was exactly in your position with very similar resume, except for the GPA part. Crickets for 16 years, then I got the email. Keep updating at least once a month.

11,000 hours
5,000 TPIC
Multiple Types
Masters Degree
Was about ready to give when I got the call after 7 years w/ an application on file.
There is hope.
