Racist and ignorant!
Here is a recipe for all the pancake pushers, cook em at home, like meth but better. Depending on the year you retire, them maybe dime sized, or maybe half dollar sized. You will find out when you retire. And no Jemima wid dem, just water. I'll negotiate with you after you retire with ideas how to supplement your thin unleavened pancakes (wafer whatever). See suggestion above. Like Tony C, I wont have a dog in the fight when it comes down to it, I'll retire. For the rest of ya, it will be self critiquing, kinda like a few notable MD-11 landings.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups gfJules™ All Purpose Gluten-Free Flour
- 4 Tbs. light olive oil
- 6 Tbs. water
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt or kosher salt
Unfortunately, I cannot educate you on your bigotry considering your an adult and probably set in your ways. Please don’t tell me “it’s just a joke” and you were just “ fooling”.
I can however educate you on the so-called pancake plan. Tell me, what piece of retirement education are you referencing? Oh, maybe you can’t site one? Again, not your fault, you are just parroting everything you’ve heard on All Pilots Complain (APC),
NEWS FLASH:
Here’s a little info for you - the so called pancake plan isn’t the same thing that was previously communicated - that happened to be what is actually a Variable Accrual plan, the one that the MEC chose NOT to move forward with in 2018. The plan analogy isn’t even associated with the Variable Benefit plan and has never been explained that way - ever! But please, if you can show that, please do.
So, for all your friends who are as clueless as you(hopefully not as racist BTW), please do us a favor and educate yourself just a little before you parrot every other uninformed person on the topic.
Hope you reassess your brief stint into the field of retirement benefits and correct your bigoted analogies.

Nope - they saw the writing on the wall that 'variable" wouldn't sell so they changed the name and continued the high pressure sales job to the pilots.
Same thing happens when a plane crashes in the Everglades. Change the name so the flying public rides your planes.

In addition to your racist and moronic comment your ignorance on the retirement plan is stunning. I’ll forgive you for that, it seems to be the “thing” most people get confused about. The racist part is all you however and there’s no excuse for that.

For the record, it was the company that stopped forward movement of the plan in 2018 not the MEC.

Chess or Checkers
The conversation within the Company went something like this...
"If the pilots want this badly enough, why negotiate outside of Section 6 negotiations whereby any concessions they make to get it will be plain for all of the membership to see? Let's wait until Section 6 is open and see what they're willing to give up to get it. We can bury the devil in the details like we always do"

That's a chess move.

Remember the conditions in 2019. It was a transition year per management. The conversation went like this per a very high level manager. “We just froze or dissolved pensions for numerous other employees. We stopped bonuses for many employees. We cut ties with a huge customer. Our stock price is heading south. Now might not be the time to give one employee group a big pension increase. Section 6 is less than 2 years away so let’s wait and see how things look then.”
I just listened to the ALPA podcast last night and it seems the company has not brought forth PBS. So this also appears to contradict your statements that we have to “trade” something for it. Remember many had stated we would have to take PBS to get a big pension bump.

It's well known PBS is not welcome coming through our front door so it's no surprise it's not knocking and announcing its presence like it did last time.
Hmmm, you don't suppose there's any other way for it to get in our house, do you? I think I'll keep my eye on the windows (Reserve limits and language) and back door (Secondary Line limits and language) just in case it tries to sneak in undetected. The devil is in the details.
