Default Joint Council Meeting during Jul 21 MEC week

I am looking forward to the joint council meeting during MEC week in Jul. This is going to be the first time in a long time to be able to face our elected reps and officers. I have a few unanswered questions that will be asked in public.

Does anyone else have unanswered questions they would like to ask?

How about starting a 24 hour contract enforcement hotline.

You mean M-F 0900-1700 isn’t convenient for those of us that have questions during our busiest hours of 1900-0800?

~that’s sarcasm for those that don’t pick up on it.

Yes I sure do have a lot of questions including one new question to my list of already unanswered questions.
What is the Union thoughts on Atlas Air opening a 747 crew base in MEM especially right before we go into contact negotiations? While the Union is asleep the company is in full motion and positioning themselves just in case. They don’t want to get caught with there pants down like last time. This is no coincidence or like some say it’s because we don’t have the lift. This is a strategic move by the company.

The company is “on point”. The union, totally out of their league! This contract will be a repeat of every other failed contract this union has produced. And the the “sheep” herd will vote it in. This group is a f* joke.

One minor correction. We are ALREADY IN NEGOTIATIONS RIGHT NOW. But I get what you mean.

I’d like it to be streamed for those not in MEM at that time.

Well, Fedex has an industry leading contract (for the most part) with the Union “asleep” at the wheel. I can’t even imagine the type of contract you folks would have if the Union was more steadfast 😳

Not going to be much of a joint meeting. Nothing in person at least.
