We at Brown would appreciate it if you pushed that bar up substantially more. Good luck!
Don’t hold your breath… but we have a GREAT vacation policy they say!!! Yawn…UA has set THE bar as far as I’m concerned.

I’m not here to slip and slide my vacation, I’m here to make Benjamins…we reap what we sow…and we sowed athe lowest payrate in the industry. But, we all fly AVA and DFT during negotiations, so, who cares about pay rates?!!

Let's hope we can get the outside labor negotiation attorneys that they used to "set the bar." Also, we all know that they're a bunch of idiots if they accept this TA and don't vote it down on principle.

Speak for yourself. I'm here to have as much time off from work as I can, and still make money. If you want to shrink your vacation, not conflict it and sell 40% back... go for it. But don't you put that mentality on the rest of us.

When we signed our contract, AA previously had the highest pay rates. This is what our looked like compared to theirs.

I'm not sure where you got that chart, but our WB pay rate in 2015 wasn't close to $325/hour. We didn't make that rate until November, 2019. The contract comparison page from the MEC doesn't agree with your assertion either.

I saw the UA CA TA pay rates:
777 Year 5: 382.32 Year 12: 403.45
757 Year 5: 313.97 Year 12: 331.37
767 Year 5: 316.23 Year 12: 336.48

And I also am hearing 8%/5%/5%

Those rates are in 2024 correct? Not DOS?

It looks like those charts compared the last year of Americans contract (2019) to our contract at the same date. Just a guess

How is UAL's vacation policy better?

You better go read the UA board. They are very underwhelmed after 3.5 years of negotiations it appears. You are also quoting pay rates that don’t become active for over another year from United. Remember pay rates are one piece of a bigger picture when it comes to total pay. As for our pilot group being self serving draft *****s you are correct. How is our union ever going to achieve anything when we have a bunch of self serving hypocrites as pilots.

Its not, I was being sarcastic. We have the lowest pay rates, but brag about our vacation policy. We seem to hang our hats on it. My view was, i get enough time off flying my line, I’d rather be THE highest paid airline pilots in the industry…our vacation policy is great, I don’t want to change it, but my eye is on another prize. IMO. I was saying that they set the bar for pay rates.
