We ARE NOT in self help. You are ADVOCATING for an ILLEGAL WORK ACTION that can bite us, big time. While I am not a fan of draft at this particular time, beating on people who make that personal choice only serves to divide us. STOP IT! Many of us were critical of the Blue man group long before this round of negotiations began. those decisions are selfish at anytime and counter productive to the health of the current and future work force. I never thought I would say this but I am now in favor of a credit cap per month like other airlines have. It would fix this problem. |

There are so many unintended consequences of something like this. If you think that limiting CH just so every 5-6 years, no one can fly extra during negotiations, your nuts. A CAP system wouldn't work without a corresponding BANK system to allow for exactly what you're talking about. Under such a system hours worked above the cap would be banked and could be used to complement fewer hours worked in subsequent months. But it would be a huge paradigm change, and unlikely to ever gain popular support. Back to our regularly scheduled negotiations. . |
