So this MD-10 SIBA seems pretty horrible and I imagine it will go junior.

Question: Since Non-vaccinated pilots are exempt, do you think a guy that gets junior assigned to it has a legit grievance when pilots junior to him get to avoid the bid due to their vaccine status? Seems like a blatant seniority infringement. Would the union take it up?

Not my job to find a solution, my job is to fly the line my seniority can hold. I was just wondering if the union would have my back if/when my seniority was abrogated.

So “the union’s” job is find you a solution that you don’t think exists. Got it. You do realize “the union” is you right?

You’re being obtuse. If a guy gets forced into because junior guys are not vaccinated, that’s BS. And you know it.

I agree, it’s BS, but what’s the solution? Should the company force junior pilots to be vaccinated? Or maybe all pilots? I really don’t see what else could be done. Do you want to go down that road? I’m vaccinated, just don’t want the company inserting themselves were they don’t belong.

Can’t staff it, oh well. If there is one person that is senior enough to NOT have to do it because junior guys can’t. Too bad so sad. One (or more) less pilot that can do it.
