Preview looks cool. I can understand why you're not limiting yourself to the Apple devices by keeping it on the web. There are a few Android customers who will benefit I bet. I am not one of them, but stovepiping into the App Store is a limitation.

I realize there will be a charge later, and you should be compensated for your work. Most of us are years into using both FxCal & BidX, and somewhere inside those individual subscriptions. My recommendation to you: allow 2-3 months of free trail so pilots can try it out. One month isn't a whole lot of time for testing/comparison. For me, I'm still inside both subscriptions for the other programs; I understand them, I don't currently need another program. But if I had a few months to test drive your program (a few different bidpacks), it would help me decide. I'm sure I'm not alone...test drive your system as a backup while I still bid with a proven method; comparing sort results, etc. I'm not going to commit after only one bidpack.

If you allow that free trial period at signup (not restricted to just Jan23 bid), you'd catch a lot more fish as FxCal/BidX subscriptions expire throughout the year.

Also would be helpful to know your projected price point after free trial expires. I'm sure you know the cost of the other 2 programs...$90/year for BidX makes me question it every year. If your program roughly approximates BidX capabilities with ease of bidding, I'd definitely be interested in a different system.

Looks nice from the demo video. Need more info to make a decision. Thanks.

1. Bidding Software with "Seniority Buster" (TM) exploits the secondary award system flaws that ensures you are not awarded anything on your line, yet still leaving you the ability to bid 85 CH during the View/Add window every month. Trial version includes "Date your Schedule, Not your Sister" function for two months free! Creates "Earlier Time Stamp" for trip trades when competing with non-Wolfpack Bros. Be the envy of anyone within 10 years of your new hire class!

2. "Magic Wand" (TM) In App Purchases allow you to buy "Off-The-Press" (TM) nuggets at progressively priced units.....the first unit blocks are cheap, they get more expensive as you go. Each nugget purchased increases your OTP/PMU bank by 5 minute intervals. Use "Magic Wand" to pick up those elusive Fz trips. "Off the Press" blocks expire every month. Nugget mitigation feature ensures when two people with equivalent unit amounts using "Magic Wand/OTP Nuggets" feature for Trips marked "Fz", the earlier software serial number gets the trip.....so don't delay!

3. "Trip Broker" (TM) in App Purchase, allows you to use "Magic Wand" to pick up multiple "Fz" trips with over-lapping footprints. Auction off the trips you don't want to others using "Magic Wand" ....splitting proceeds with Developer. You increase your OTP nuggets 40% of the winning bid. Developer recaptures 60%

4."Best Bro" (TM) in App Purchase allows ability to bid for "Trip Broker" auctioned trips. Note: once OTP nuggets are bid on a "Trip Broker" Trip, they are removed from the bidders bank even if the bid is not won. "Best Bro"(TM) must also be purchased by pilot using "Trip Broker" if you want to use "Best Bro" to automatically categorize/deny bids from pilots using "Best Bro" who are not designated on your "Bromance" list. Categories include: "Wolf", "Bro", "New Balance/Costco Jeans"...."New Balance/Costco Jeans" pilots will always lose the auction.

5. "LCA Master" (TM) in App Purchase automatically sorts active "Pay Only" LCA pilots and highlights them if you decide to bid in "Low Profile" mode that month. Will send non-identified, compassionate text message asking LCA's out on Sick Leave whether or not they intend on calling in "Well" before that trip you really want to get "PDO bumped on"....no more guessing and no more awkward conversations with that guy who's already going thru a difficult health situation and may not be keenly aware of your personal desires that month. Allows you to add canned closing to your text message such as "anything I can do for you", "get better soon", "looking forward to 'flying' (Bumped) with you again!"

6. Free Modules! "Calendar Blocker" included free in 2023....as well as "PDO ME". "PDO ME", Profers all trips on your line using (MU) if you fail to bid that month. It also sends text messages to all pilots in your seat/base when you have a DH to or from MEM. Proprietary "Plausible Deniability" VPN prevents anyone from tracking bot functionality of software, also automatically geo-locates your phone at Hotel STBY location. "Ringy Dingy/Late Call", informs you of a call from a 901-224-xxxx, automatically declines call and calls them back at 14 minutes 59 seconds if you are on Reserve. "Late Call" updates codes daily. "Comm Me" provides direct Peer to Peer messaging with your Block Rep even if his notifications are turned off.

All in App Purchases cost 1/5 of a credit hour every month at your current or higher rate if you are on a training list. In App purchases can be set for "auto-renew"

One Year subscription now comes with an SEC booster lanyard of your choice emblazoned with a "No Concessions" badge showing other pilots that you really are a "Team Player"!

Run with the "Wolves" or be eaten by them!.........This post is Satire

that was fantastic

Carter,

will you one day include open time/trip trading software?

your user interface looks intuitive. The “bestest, better, good, etc.” lines folders is exactly how I bid but have never really had the ability to do so. Will be giving your product a shot this period. Thanks

For me there would need to be more sort options to use this over bidx. For example, sorting by departure time, critical/night flying etc.

Also, not sure if you are aware, but any combination of numbers works when signing up as an employee. Guys in the hiring pool that are not yet at Fedex are using the app to look at the bidpacks. Could be a security issue that anyone anywhere can use the acrobid to peruse our bidpacks.

does anything prevent you from doing that on BidX. I legit don’t know, you only need a subscription to submit as far as I’m aware.

This was permitted for a short time during development to allow me to quickly test various systems but is no longer possible. Security was in the forefront of my mind when I designed this.

Hello Bert, Brian's questions were spot-on.

The development team for the program really is just me - there is no one else behind the scenes. I spent a lot of layovers making this a reality. Think of the "we" in terms of service more like a royal "we." Good on you for actually reading the terms and conditions though.

There is a really exciting feature I am going to release tomorrow. I hope you will all log in and check it out.
carterj , you spent a lot of time in the terms and conditions defining who the user is and what constitutes the user authorizing others to use the product under their name, but no time defining who "we" is. Considering the terms and conditions talk about third party servers, advertisers, allowed website tracking and other items, I think that users should know exactly who "we" are.

It would also be helpful if you posted the actual cost for the different subscription plans and what they include on the website.

Default New feature-Add trips to your device calendar

Is anybody else checking VIPS right now to see what line you were awarded? I just added a feature to Acrobid that allows you to add your trips to your device's calendar with 1 click.

The feature works regardless of how you bid, whether it was with Acrobid or one of the older programs. It works great with your phone, iPad, or computer.

As a bonus, I've loaded the December bidpacks in so you can go in and add your December trips too.

The cost is the same as the cost to bid next month: free.

Here's a video that shows it in action:

Are you ever going to say how much this is going to cost in the future?
