Well, "Raj" may think differently. Maybe in 1985 under Fred Smith. It appears today's Raj "FedEx" is Express, Ground, and Freight. It also appears "Express" is a thorn in their side, if my negative pessimistic self reads the slide they way I read it
"weakness at Express" could have been worded to say "challenges in the marketplace faced by Express" etc etc

I think pretty soon we will need to be saying UA or AA PAY+
Regardless, as the MEC stated in writing in our openers, it's "industry leading payrates". There is no grey area and I will NOT vote for any TA that will not contains industry leading payrates which by definition surpasses whoever is on top at that time. If the NC puts forth a TA that does not contain this, they will look like absolute fools. While some may feel that is not realistic and want to sell themselves short, I on the other hand know what I'm worth and what those I fly with are worth. Stay strong, united, and don't buy in to any of the BS rumors floating out there.

You'd really have to believe the NC/MEC is aware that anything less than DL/UA/AA will get voted down at this point. If it's not, doesn't have scope improvements, contains any of the rumored concessions, or whatever other sh!te the company puts in there...then we vote it down and start over. Our UA friends just proved it can be done.

We, as a group have to proactively share information because our management and our union do not. I greatly appreciate the pilot on the inside that chose to share that information. They clearly understand that their clan is the pilot group, not management.

It says staffing adjustments will take 12-20 months to complete… we just saw Pax carriers go through this, excess training capacity was eaten up by displaced pilots from shuttered fleets and new hire training didn’t resume until that was completed.
