AOC Christmas Meals?

Well, we got the usual email about expensing meals over Christmas, but I must have missed the "Holiday Meal" Announcement for AOC. My wife looks forward to two times each year when she doesn't have to cook for me cause if I'm not working even, I put on my Uniform and go eat some thawed shrimp, roast beef, and grab a coke out of the cooler. Did I miss it this year or did we experience a change in status quo during negotiations? #disappointed, #thawedshrimp, #brownbaglunch, #checkingouthowoldsomeoftheguysinyournewhireclassl ooknow, #cheapPilotAOCholidaydinner

It's not in the contract, so the company is cutting it as part of their cost saving measures.

Our fellow pilots are about to learn how important it is to have every last thing codified in the CBA and to not trust the good will of the company. More cuts coming soon.

Yep, no more coffee or popcorn as of Jan 1. 😬

I think there would be riots if there was no coffee.

The lack of Christmas buffets is their subtle way to let us know how much they really appreciate us.

Actions speak louder than words.

Goodwill, or a lack of it, goes both ways.

Many have been warning of these things for over a year now. The draft and premium pay voluntary extensions were just to good to pass up though. Now you are not needed. Thrown away like a used blow up doll. Our pilot group got played and was a more than willing participant. It’s our own fault. GREED

bah humbug

I mean.....not even a "holiday" pizza meal? .....bah humbug......
I mean, you could have killed a three birds with one stone.....

1. Fatigue mitigation/throw the crews a bone during ice event like has happened in the past
2. Play some Christmas music and put a cooler of Cokes in front of a temporary framing covered with red and green drapery....have someone in management cutting the pizza while wearing a Santa Hat.....thus qualifying this as a "benevolent" holiday meal.
3. Have at least one if not both people in every position that has two people staffed with one job description to come explain why they can't afford the pilots they need to make their business model work.....thus making it a brownbag as well.

Hopefully they threw catering on every flight outta there last night.

It's like telling your limo driver how much you appreciate his hard work, professionalism, can do attitude and timeliness while looking deeply into the windows of his soul.... Clasping his right hand in both of yours...you proclaim your admiration, then turn around, pick up your bag, and leave without tipping him.......

Weren’t you boast about how Draft and AVA you flew during that time? Weren’t you boasting about how much money you made? You went as far as trying to justify you draft flying on you being frustrated by other who do the same. Stop your nonsense for once.

swing and a miss… I answered a 2020 income survey thread like hundreds of other pilots. Any draft I have ever done was prior to contract amendable date. That is the standard date which is the point to fly your line. Good try though.

Just another lie from Notruthallmanagement. You said you had already picked up a draft trip and we’re going to continue to do it. We’re you untruthful when you said you had already picked up the draft?

You also admitted to flying draft during our first 7 months of negotiations, and then made up an excuse that it is ok before the amendable date.
