I'd wear that, and some purple pants too, if this TA was actually industry leading.

It could be worse....Delta + a nickel would mean we have to look like Delta too with a double breasted blazer, hat, Less Vacation, No A fund, and PBS, not to mention a whole lot less Widebody/Narrow Body ratio.......

I thought I wanted "Cash over Cap", until I found out the benefits of cash balance plan (which I am only not partaking because of my age).....that money is Cash over...but protected as a DB.....

You're comparing things that are not even germane to the discussion, such as what uniform another carrier wears and conflating that into how one is compensated as an airline pilot. We have PBS, Delta's vacation is nearly as good as Purple's now, etc.

It is Germane....contracts come with work rules that pair with those pay-rates....You may call secondary lines PBS, but we do not work under PBS.....to quote you, "Delta's vacation is nearly as good"....so it still is not as good as ours.....Personally, I'd rather be here with this TA than at Delta.....that works for me. If you'd rather be at Delta, I wouldn't waste anymore time here.....seniority clock is clicking......so is the time-value of money.
