New CFO announcement timing
 

Seems very purposeful to announce the new CFO days before TA voting done.

But why?

A. A scare tactic so that we vote No and then company can delay and reopen Scope and seek bigger gains

B. A scare tactic that we vote yes to take on TA union claimed gains in Scope, knowing they can have new CFO extract gains on new scope

They are always playing chess…

I think august has always been the month they planned on tightening the flight ops screws, regardless of the TA results.

I still think it was purposeful, otherwise why not delay announcement until July 25

Good luck with this guy, he's extremely anti-labor and extremely cunning. This guy will unfortunately be your CEO before you know it. If anyone is on the fence about leaving, I'd suggest you leave while you have the chance, save yourself!

FedEx is a $90B corporation and currently a hedge fund has them by the short hairs pulling every movie. The timing of the CFO announcement has nothing to do with the TA.
