Wow! Look at OT!!!
15 77 FO trips just popped into OT to KIX, NRT, ICN…hmm I ask WHO was supposed to fly those? WET LEASE under the TA that didn’t pass, THATS WHO!!!!
They already gave away flights in Aug bidpack to wet lease KNOWING the TA was going to pass, well? IT DIDNT!! SCOPE SCOPE SCOPE!!!!! We are already seeing the benefits of voting this turd down!!! |
If true (and there’s no other obvious reasonable explanation) the truth will come out and the intransigence is mind-blowing.
Occam’s Razor. Pretty much every other rumor has been on-point. |
ANC 11C - 25 extra pairings added
ANC 11F - 49 extra pairings added Way more trips in ANC MD11 open time then there are pilots available to fly them. |

Do you really think they signed a new wet lease contract and then broke it and paid the penalty to break it if it is cheaper to wet lease? They could have wet leased these flights under the current contract as seen during COVID. |

Or, they are flights added from the threat of a UPS strike and didn’t get added to lines in the secondary process.

The stuff that went into open time is FAR more likely to be core flying that was going to be outsourced. What is it going to take to convince people that our flying is under threat in a huge way? |
Will get flown by the same group that complained about the crap TA! It will be ok because it will be a straight time. So not hurting the company!

Our Union leadership should be very interested in communicating this, and what it means. Instead, we have silence for "a few weeks", right after a monumental vote and step in the RLA process. Absurd. Regardless, thanks for posting on OT. We really dodged a bullet with Scope on TA1. Really, it was the Scope TA. That was the finishing touch that sunk the concession-laden document and company's wet-lease dream. |

If your hunch is correct on this magic rat, this OT dump is a huge deal. This is the kind of information that becomes leverage for our group.
