Letter from The Treasurer

Great, glad you had your podium to speak on. I'm glad we have lots of cash and you called for unity, that's the only good takeaway.

But yes, please keep telling us how the reps were right. Brave to say we need to keep experienced leadership onboard, when that very leadership by and large went against the wishes of their blocks.

Recall and replace.

While I agree with the wisdom of the masses, let's remember how we got here in the first place. We allowed this to happen by not being involved.

Starting this Friday, we are going to begin the process to rebuild our MEC, Officers, and Committees. Once we start, we are responsible to see this through and ensure our MEC represents the will of the pilots from now on.

Unity comes with commitment. Finally we have shown its not that hard.

The Sec/Tres letter just shows we have another position to improve.

Recall and replace as needed.

The Treasurer has flown less than 10 days this calendar year. I'm guessing he is trying to save his own bacon from having to return to the bag dragging life of a line pilot. His message is out of touch and it seems as though this MEC is going to go out kicking and screaming.

Their experience is pushing their own agenda and not listening to their membership. I don’t think we need that kind of experience moving forward!

and isn’t it refreshing how our “leaders” have completely changed their tone? everyone is so nice and understanding, and open, and freaking kumbaya, what with baseball games, and that touching story of some loser letting another loser get the foul ball so as to give it to his kid. I cried actual tears. sure, these tears tasted like acid, but my point is, my eyes were all dewy, and so what the heck, lets not be rash, folks. we all want the same thing … or do we?

look, I don’t know what sort of secret deals these guys had lined up, but the manner by which they tried selling this TA was disgusting!

clean house.

what’s the average seniority and age of our reps? Would it be that most of them would stand to benefit from increasing the pension at all costs?

it’s an absolute conflict of interest to have anyone that might be forced to retire during the amendable period working on the negotiating committee. It is despicable. This group of ALPA leadership at FedEx is every bit as bad and corrupt if not worse than the tumi ta United guys. They all need to go except TC. If I have to read one more condescending threatening email I’ll lose it. Now they all backtrack with these half effort gaslight apologies while still not taking any responsibility. Lies deceit surprise retirement plans. Fake charts with just flat out incorrect math. I mean how on earth do you create a pay comparison chart showing FedEx with 1100 hours a year include vacation and sick time then put Delta with 900 hours a year sick time and vacation forget to include their profit sharing and claim we make more. Ygtbsm.
