Do we know an exact date that age 68 gets voted on?



[MOD EDIT] The house version and what's being discussed in the senate is age 67, ie you are done on your 67th. birthday.

it was voted on and passed in the houses version of the faa reauthorization bill. As of now it is not included in the senate’s version of the bill. Both houses are currently in recess. Looks like September before any action in the senate.

Age 68 would need to be proposed, first.

Presently under consideration is age 67.

Some of us just want a little career progression so we can get our 25 and punch out on this entire operation. But now a days we have an entirely new set of roadblocks with technology and management seeking to remove us altogether. So I’m sorry but I’m not sorry that the majority of us feel that another 2 years for you goes against our own retirement goals.
