Hey all, this is my first layover in Bercy. Any good bars/restaurants/things to do in the area? Thanks for all the suggestions!

I think it’s a great layover! Hotel is comfortable and accommodating, it sits at the end of kind of an utrban residential area.

There is a restaurant row about a block away, a gym many folks go to, plentiful ATM’s, corner stores, and easy availability to walk to many cool places if you’re willing to really hoof it…used to take students to the Catacombs, and the cemetery where Jim Morrison was buried.

Paris Metro is close , one block away or so….its really one of my favorites. I miss it now. Hopefully you can hook up with other crewmembers there and they can kind of check you out of the area… Have fun!

If it’s not too cold, they have a Velib Bike stand. 1€ all day to ride. They have them all over the city. It’s a quick way to get to all the big tourist spots and see the city.

Also, book a Fat Tire Bicycle tour in Paris......They're a heck of a lot of fun and well done...

As someone that owns a couple of fatties for riding on snow in Alaska, why would you want to ride one on pavement?

I had a great time on a Fat Bkie tour. Brought the wife over on a long Front end DH back when we would get 60 hrs there. Deviated and company paid for two earlier
nights too.

Breakfast in America. The best American breakfast you'll find in Paris. If you find something better, DM me. It is also a diner if you need American diner food.
Bercy Village. The Frog. Hippoptamus Steakhouse. Any brasserie. Vapiano Bercy for chain fast-food italian that's cooked and made to order in right front of you.
Fenetre Sur Cour (end of Bercy Village)
L'Auberge Aveyronnaise Restaurant
LeClub Kebabs ... for a quick donner (around the corner from L'Auberge .... there's a good sandwhich place there too
Galway Irish Pub, The Great Canadian Pub, The Highlander
Aux Trois Mailletz (piano bar / cabaret) ... really cool at night
The Gentlemen Pub
