Thanks for all you do!

Just wanted to say thank you to the few that are really helping the company out in these trying times by giving up your days off to move the freight. Very PSP of you. Thanks!

You ANC 777 FO and OAK 767 CA’s sure work hard for us. We appreciate YOU!

at least tell me it’s draft? It’s straight time?? Are you kidding me? This is why we can’t have nice things

Fred is smiling up at them from wherever union-busters end up.

It's easier for these pusillanimous people to make excuses to the coworkers that they're stabbing in the back than it is for them to tell their partners that household spending needs to be kept in check and that they need to consistently live below their means so that they can weather the bad times. No shortage of them at any airline, but at FedEx it seems to be the culture. In the 80s before CCTV was so widely proliferated, guys at other airlines who stabbed their coworkers in the back like this would find their car reduced to ashes in the parking lot when they finished a trip. We live in a "safer" world now, though it certainly comes at a price.

The fives fan base can all wait ten years for a contract since they all are sucking up draft and blocking their calendars!

I have 5 VMs from CRS within the last week. I sure would like to help them out. I could use the money as well. Things seem to cost a bit more than they did in 2015. But I need to prep for my PSA interview next month. I was told on good authority that it would be a great opportunity for me. As much as I hate to, I really do need to take it seriously. Sorry CRS. Not today. Not tomorrow either. Have your people call my people if you get desperate enough. My Negotiating Committee speaks for me.

Maybe they could empty out the management offices and get some of these trips covered.

Another alternative would be a TA.

The office types are definitely out there flying the line.

How would a TA help staffing? Draft? Hiring?

I’m fairly certain that if the company had shown in any way over the past few years that we are valued members of a team then more of this flying would be covered. I know I have ZERO interest in giving up one minute of my life to help out.

It’s the situation they created and it has consequences.

At draft, a Fedex captain at the top of the pay scale would make $503/hour. At Delta, that same captain at premium pay would make $920/hour. I know what my time is worth, does Fedex?
