This company has always found a way to zap the pilots in a negotiation. See the RED LETTER. The Parking Lot Deal. A380 Pay Rates. This time its a 5 year wait for a TA. And lucky for FedSux, this time its during a period of massive economic inflation. They even figured to really stick it to the pilots in 2025 by cutting the pilots guarantee hours using the contract as a weapon. (To which the current Negotiators were able to terminate going forward see 4a2c) And then they banked on the helper pilots to fly AVA to bail them out. Which wasn't quite enough so then they trucked freight from the Air Operations Hub during peak to prove that the pilots have ZERO Control.

I've been beat down. Im exhausted. I'm broke as a joke. I will never recommend anyone to come fly at this airline and thats generational damage done by this corporations hubris and greed. BUT - THE TIME IS NOW to make this end. Let's get a deal next week.

You are broke, hardly. Not making what your peers are making, def yes. But here you are, another this place sucks guy. You will only know if you made the right choice when you retire. Work to make it better instead of whining on social media.

Petey,

Im honored that you used your 3rd ever post to reply to my reality check at FedSux. Yes, the last 5 years have been a complete lie to me. From MASSIVE growth and 3,000 new hires to MASSIVE DECLINE in resources, staffing and attrition. Yes, its been everything that HITTING THE LOTTERY would have brought to imagination. So, sorry you had to type your response. I hope you didn't send it from your IP Address on South Shady Grove Drive. And I hope the deal you should have offered 5 years ago for the value the pilots bring to your corporation is rendered accordingly next week.

Respectfully,

-Bubs

I'm not broke. Bottom line though is that sometimes corporations are able get away with a little less compensation because they have a great culture, are located in a great place, offer greater stability, or otherwise bring intangibles to the table.

FEDEX BRINGS NEGATIVES IN THE "INTANGIBLES" CATEGORY! That was not previously the case (with the exception of location).

It is not wrong to acknowledge these changes and demand compensation where other elements were unilaterally taken.
