Other than update your app frequently and make sure it’s tight, then yes, you have done all you can. But to be clear, just because you applied doesn’t mean the next step is guaranteed either.
What are current equipment drops? Thanks |

What is the typical time from interview to class?
What are current equipment drops? Thanks There is a thread labeled Class Drops where you can find the most recent trends. I hear things are happening quickly. Typically a month or less from interview to class. |

Current Fedex pilot. I asked last week and the recruitment team states they DO NOT want people to do the additives. They stated their flight time program automatically adds it.

Application Timeline Question
Hello all. I submitted an application on the online FedEx pilot careers website. I have 2 questions:
1: Is this the only place only to apply (unlike some carriers who require airline apps or the like.) 2: How long does it typically take to see any progress on the application? Current status is "Application Received". I have had it in the system for roughly 3-4 weeks now. Thanks everybody!! |

It depends on how they like your qualifications and if they do, then how regularly you update. Could be a few months before you hear something, could be never. |

Thanks for the reply! To clarify, I haven't done any sortie conversions of my own on the application website, but I'd like to know for myself exactly how the company views my hours. Do they use a .3 sortie conversion, for example, and what time they count towards that currency? (e.g. only turbine time, only complex multi-engine time, etc).

I can no longer update my application. I can't access it at all.
It just says, "We have received your application & it is in the review stage." Anyone else seeing this? Did a window close or something, because I can't even find "Pilot" on jobs anymore. |

When you hit print application it will show you what your converted time is. I think This is a fairly new development.
