Default FDX Mid trip deviation bank usage

I just heard of another sweet "contract improvement" for commuters. Apparently we can no longer use mid trip deviation banks to cover other deviation expenses (like making up a short fall on a front or backend deadhead). Please tell me this isn't true...

Incorrect. They segregated the banks only to protect us. The total of all bank monies are still available for any allowable monthly deviation expenses. The change was made to fix the various scenarios that used to allow revisions with additional scheduled DH segments to tap into your travel bank and effectively reduce the amount of money you had available when you blocked out.

That's happened to me a few times. This is a good thing.

Raptor gave a pretty clear explanation in another thread (see post #4)

So now that you know the facts about this...can we assume you corrected the source of the bad gouge?

We are our own worst enemy.
