When I looked on the map I said - eesh, not good (knowing Memphis areas). But I do wonder if it's so bad it's undo-able. I don't need much- clean, safe. Free breakfast is even better. For ~$50 a night I'd be willing to at least try it a couple times.
Are you speaking from experience?

Use Trip Advisor, I have stayed in dozens if not hundreds of hotels and it has never steered me wrong:

Anyone know whether all 757 sims are over at AOTC (Gucci) now? PFC training still shows the Pan Am building being used, but it might not be updated as I thought they should have all been moved over by now?
Thanks, just trying to figure out where to stay, and the training schedule isn't finalized yet.

I stayed at la quinta last week for $50/ night fedex rate. Shuttle isn't 24 hours, but will pick up/drop off late if you prearrange. Be very clear when calling for pickup about your fedex location (AOC vs Gucci) as the drivers aren't used to driving to fedex. Highly recommend soul food restaurant next door (The Bistro)
