My 757 training was delayed by 2 months. Anybody else experiencing big changes in training dates?

Same training date for me but they reorganized the order which cost me 8 months of pass over. Not a happy camper at all.

Has anyone ever gone to training when the training letter said they would go? Ever?

I always just assumed that the CBA required that Management publish a training letter so ... they publish one. It doesn't technically say that that the training letter has to be based in reality so that you might be able to plan the rest of your life around the Company's plans?

I had the Training Manager not be able to tell me what my schedule was going to be for the next day. I surely didn't think they could plan months ahead?

You don't think the Company cares about the rest of your life ... do you?

B777C moved three weeks earlier. Oct 7/15 moved to sept 16/15. So much for going to my 30th college reunion!

You must not be currently on the 757/767. There was a 757 FCIF out a couple of days ago explaining the change. They are in the process of moving the 757 sims to the Guicci building this fall.

When they move a sim, doesn't it take a substantial amount of time to get it re-certified by the faa?

Doesn't seem like this is a prudent time to take sims down.

LCA told me last week that they have something like 60 folks sim complete and waiting on IOE

Three months is a conservative number to work with.

They are working on about 45 days to get the job done.

The training back up is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Training in Dallas is going to be around for quite a while.
