Default FDX-American pay scale

I was just looking at Americans pay scale and noticed that FDX 777 capt. 15yr hourly rate is the same as American's 1yr 777 capt., $261. Funny how that worked out.

$320 an Hour. This is the minimum on Day 1 of the new TA. Not some back loaded crap the companies always throw out there. oh, you have $320 an hour, in 2020!

Just remember, American doesn't have 1/10th the work rules of FedEx. All we got were pay rates.

Probably fly around with a LOT more of the hazmat, dangerous goods, and batteries than AMR. Not to mention the night schedules.

How profitable has Fred been over the years compared to any Pax carrier ?

No one will ever be a 1-year 777 Captain at AA, so that pay rate is a joke.

It is put there to entice knuckleheads who look at spreadsheets of airline pay rates. It will skew everything their way.

Yes, AA finally has payrates that have caught up with inflation and everything else. But the work rules they agreed to suck.

The Delta guys said no to a TA with lots of $$ but also a lot of ass-pain. Good for them - work rules define how good your life is.

$ is the most important. This is why it is covered first in every TA Sales Job. Then Work Rules, Retirement, etc. And it's Black and White. They can't abuse it with lawyer language like the other Articles of a Contract.

$320 an hour is just MATCHING what UAL and DAL paid 11 years ago!!!!! Geez.
