Default Bonus Estimate

Some freehand math...

125 million bonus. 4160 pilots.

1680 WB Captains
300 NB Captains
1800 WB FOs
335 NB FOs

based on the % differences in pay....

I am guessing the bonus payouts would be something like:

36k WB Capt
30k NB Capt
25k WB FO
22.5 NB FO

Might not be precise - but I think it is a decent guess

Is that the way you guys have divided it before? Seems unfair. It's a ratification bonus. Each pilot gets a vote. I see why captains should get more but not why mb and wb are different.

Because it is not a "ratification bonus".

It is retro pay.

Final straw deal breaker for me...ALPA keeps a portion to pay its bills. I've already paid my dues. Those dues include paying for contract negotiations. I will be very interested in seeing a full breakdown of how the money is distributed.

Because Cap/FO is the same lifestyle/pay choice as WB/NB.
Lots of folks chose WB FO instead of NB CAP.
Four pay scales, four RETRO PAY amounts.

And ALPA better keep ZERO!!!!!
It belongs to the line pilots who earned it with no pay raise for the past 3 years.

This sure would be a good deal for any new hire in the past 1-2 years

....especially those hired directly as WB FOs

Hmmm

Yeah if they are completely short sighted. I think they probably came to FedEx for the promise of a bright future, good quality of life, a worthwhile retirement, fair treatment and good benefits--might be better than the regional or military they just left, but it is fading fast. I'd just trust the company our awesome union leadership and take the contract extension and stand on the beach with the rest of us and watch our futures erode with each contract.
