It's the final deviation check-in, after you have deadheaded to position(intercontinental), before a revenue or standby period. Six hours earlier than now. Pretty sketchy to plan on making it in for your trip and cutting it that short anyway, especially internationally.

I have never planned on cutting it that close but I do remember once getting caught in multiple delays and getting in 16 hours prior....I guess that will get me fired starting in October

It's a giveback. a.k.a. Concession.

Baron, you're no pilot. Hope Hacks Cross is treating you well.

SLB - last two years before you retire will encourage you to ***** yourself while your sick. That might also be a sneaky way of the company shaving the A plan costs, you retire as a tired sick old man, shorter life expentancy.

When was the last time anyone was fired for a late deviation check in after encountering multiple delays?

So speaking of retirement, I won't be eligible for the SLB but does that still leave 40k for advance notification of retirement. The bullet points make it sound like a sliding scale from age 54-65. Any knowledge?

Overall, very minor improvements to some work rules, taken away by concessions on other work rules. Basically, it reads as if we negotiated for four years to achieve a cost of living adjustment to pay (though not retirement), and a ten percent raise. The bonus itself is half of what we should demand. Very Disappointing! The MEC should NOT have sent this to the membership for a vote. It is quite substandard on issues of pay and retirement, with work rule give backs, uncertainty on insurance costs, potential degradation of vacation in 6-week bid periods plus loss of flexibility, deficient deadhead parameters, no address of potential huge scope issues in Europe, no address of current 757/767 line abuses, accepted fare issues, etc.

A "NO "vote here!
