VEBA doubles under this TA

VEBA doubles from $0.50 per credit hour to $1.00 per credit hour at signing and goes up automatically $0.05 per credit hour each year ( wasn't in last contract).

So whatever you are paying monthly for VEBA now -- double it.!

If you use the 1000 ch per year it would be $1000 so a new hire would put $25,000 in their career.

I wonder what Fdx does with that 4.3mil per year that they hold out of our checks for our veba?

??I didn't think the cost of the VEBA was even that much. It's not like it's that much money per person who use it, is it?

All I know is it is $1 per credit hr per 1000cch per yr times 4300 pilots.

I was referring to the actual cost of the program, though, not what we all pay for it.

Walrus no offense but read the TA all of the VEBA money is deposited in an account managed by a board appointed by ALPA to pay for post Medicare retirement supplements that everyone is eligible for.

Section 27.I.

They actually fixed this section so more retired pilots can use it and thanks to the Affordable Care Act your post medicare birth control is covered.
