What happens after a 'NO' vote.....

It would be very foolish for our MEC to not have a plan going forward if the TA is rejected. And, CD is not a foolish man. So, don't think for a second there is no plan, just because they have not discussed it in depth during the roadshows and videos.
The agenda for the roadshows and videos is to present the gains they brought to the TA, period. The roadshow/video agenda is not to present the concessions and grey areas, nor to present the plan of how we proceed after a NO vote. I am not slamming the NC, just stating the obvious.
Just because it's not on the current agenda, does not mean we are not preparing for it.

Everyone keeps saying what happens if we vote this TA down. I will tell you what happens!
The company will realize that we recognize a bad contract when we are presented with it.
If you feel underwhelmed over this TA, then the company must feel overwhelmed.

I think the point being made is that a fully informed pilot group would be given those specifics too. It is incumbent on the union leadership to make us aware of the plan (we assume they have), assure us it is ready and remove any doubts. They should give us as much info as possible and an unbiased view on how post-no vote events might go down. Sure there are unknowns, but they have more insight into the process than most of us.
Bottom line: a yes vote should not result out of the impression (intentional or not) that we are unprepared to turn this TA down.

Fearing something is a choice. Fearing the unknown is a weakness. Worst case is you live under the same contract you've had for years....without fear I hope.
An educated assessment of the situation and risk is that the company will sweeten the pot so that they can conduct business as expected by the public and shareholders. Continuing under the current labor relations environment is not working out too well right now.
Lines are unfilled
New hires are looking elsewhere
Medical bills are fixing to get ugly with upcoming law changes
Retirements could get real ugly - real fast if there is no "deal" to keep guys.
I'm with the brave souls who are not afraid of the unknown here. The NO vote is gonna drop and I hope I'm not alone.

I was the given the number by a union rep friend of mine of 1211 hours a year is what the average FedEx pilot credits. A lot of senior guys fly carry over...

Sorry... Got to raise the BS flag. I have many friends here...and not one....NOT ONE flies much more than their own BLG.... Once in awhile you get a CO...but not to the tune of 100 hours a month...every month.
Random made up "facts" to support an opinion is self serving....and BS.
